Invisalign Teen aligners are specifically suited for teenagers, as they still have teeth growing. It is different to the usual Invisalign system as Invisalign Teen has special eruption tabs that allows erupting molars to be guided into the perfect position (to avoid further alignment issues), and they also have blue dot compliance indicators to remind the patient to change aligners.

How does Invisalign for teens work?

If you’re wondering how the Invisalign Teen treatment works, allow us to tell you. As opposed to wires and brackets, the procedure uses clear aligners that are barely noticeable.

Your teenager will then simply wear them over their teeth, changing them with a new set of aligners every fortnight or so. The idea is that, over time, their teeth will gradually move into place, to help them achieve a straighter smile.

The Invisalign Teen has a blue indicator which fades as you wear the aligner to ensure that you’re wearing it for the specified 20 to 22 hours a day.

After giving 3 stars for the cleaning of my teeth, today I was having a wisdom tooth removal and I just need it to come back to this review to make it 5 because doctor Johana Zibova was exeding my expectations on how nice, professional, patient and being 100% shore that i won't feel the pain or uncomfortable with the procedure. Again, like I've said on my previous review, very clean, very professional all stuff and least but not last, they have in my opinion very very good prices. Just to get an ideea, what it costed me on them 270£, on another clinic they request 675£. I will let you judge if this clinic have good prices or not. Highly recommend this dental practice! After putting off going to the dentist for over 18 years following a traumatic experience, it was only a matter of time before I had to sit in that chair again! Eventually, it got to the point where eating had become uncomfortable, and despite my fear, I knew I had to do something. I was taken care of by Ajay, who helped me every step of the way, both with my anxiety and throughout the treatment. I was recently treated by Dr Dhillon and Zeyneb, and they were both fantastic. They replaced a broken veneer and repaired several fillings. Dr Dhillon clearly explained all the available options and provided realistic timeframes for the treatment. What is Invisalign for teenagers?

Invisalign is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teenager’s teeth without the restrictions that come with metal braces.

Instead of metal wires and brackets, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners that have been custom-made for your teenager’s teeth.

They only need to be removed when they eat, drink, brush and floss.

Your teenager will simply wear them over their teeth at all other times, and every two weeks will change them for a new set of aligners.

Gradually the teeth will shift into place, achieving a confident new smile for your teenager.

The practical advantages over traditional braces?

With Invisalign the aligners are removable, so your teenager can play sports without the worry of being hit in the mouth by a ball, which can cause real damage to metal braces.

They can also continue to play their musical instruments after removing their aligners (unlike with metal braces where they may get in the way).
